The club was established in
the year of 1990 to involve mainly the industrialist
from focal point area with Rtn. Subash Bajaj, as
its- Charter President. The rotary club of Ludhiana
Southend Dist. 3070, has a unique characteristic that
it is the only club of the district who has its weekly
meeting in the late afternoon in the industrial area of Ludhiana
where most of its members, who are from this area and leading industrialists/leading professionals of the
city, meet together for the weekly meetings and most of
the projects are also directed to the community of this area.

Awards
- The club got the unique honour of getting the award
of best club in the 1st year of its existence and
- Rtn. Subhash Bajaj got the recognition as the best president of the year
1990-91.
- Rotarian Sandeep Jain, also was awarded the best
president of the year 1993-94.
- Dr. Satish Jain, also awarded the best president
in year 1997-98 and again in the year 2006-07.

The credit of all these goes to members of the club for
their whole hearted dedication, commitment, financial
assistance and above all team spirit and the never
ending enthusiasm.
MATCHING GRANT PROJECTS
We got a matching grant project of X-ray
machine (Our Permanent Project at Sh. Atma Ram
Jain Charitable Hospital, Samrala, Chandigarh Road with the
help of Bedford Club, United Kingdom.
The club members are very keen for having a Rotary
building
in the industrial focal point area and seek matching grant
projects for the benefit of the community. |
